Drawings and paintings that span 30 years can sometimes appear overly extensive or insightful or premonitions of future direction, however laboured and intent on meaning. This is really not the case with Anxiety Melts Despair. These works are drawn from an archive, for sure, but hardly comprehensive or noteworthy. The lucky few that have survived the floods, landslides, and plagues of the last three decades. That we are standing here looking at this is a miracle in itself.
